Plain language,
no surprises.
Fees in aged care can feel opaque. Here's how it works at Wimbledon Villa — and the steps to take before admission.
1. Needs assessment
Required before admission regardless of payment type. Arranged through Support Links — we can guide you through the process.
2. Residential Care Subsidy
People over 65 in long-term care may qualify for the means-tested subsidy via WINZ. Eligibility depends on asset and income thresholds available from WINZ.
3. Monthly billing
Private-payer billing is monthly in advance, due on the 1st, via automatic payment referencing the resident's surname. The first invoice covers the period from admission to the next billing cycle.
4. Temporary absences
Fees continue during temporary absences such as holidays or hospital stays, until we're officially notified that a resident has left permanently.

“Cost is the question we hear most. It's almost always more reassuring once we've talked it through.”
Enquire nowGuarantee of fee payment
Every resident signs a guarantee of fee payment before admission. This is a precaution in case HFA or WINZ funding is later withdrawn — it doesn't mean you'll necessarily be billed personally.
