Every day,
a spark of life.

Wimbledon Villa is a small, family-run rest home in the heart of Feilding. Full-time care, respite and day care across two purpose-built wings — built on the belief that a meaningful life doesn't end at the front door of a care home.

1880s homestead

Lovingly modernised, original character retained.

Two purpose-built wings

Rose Wing for resthome & hospital; Courtyard Wing for dementia.

Family-owned & Feilding-based

Small, personal, grown from this community.

Wimbledon Villa — every day, a spark of life.

A place to call home

Heritage homestead, modern wings, gardens to wander — designed to feel like a home, not a facility.

— Our philosophy —

"We believe that our residents, through a lifetime of experiences and choices, have formed unique interests, relationships and values. We work to maintain and foster these — despite any limitations brought about by illness or disability."

A whole home, not just a room.

— The Eden Alternative —

"The three plagues of loneliness, helplessness and boredom account for the bulk of suffering among our elders."

We build days that answer all three — with companionship, purpose, and small moments of spontaneity.

  • Companionship is the antidote to loneliness.

  • Purpose is the antidote to helplessness.

  • Spontaneity is the antidote to boredom.

— A day at Wimbledon Villa —

A rhythm, not a schedule.

  1. Morning

Breakfast in the dining room or in your room — whichever feels right today. Morning tea follows.

  2. Midday

A cooked meal planned with our dietician, with special diets and preferences accommodated.

  3. Afternoon

Activities run by our Diversional Therapist. Garden walks. Visiting family. A quiet armchair.

  4. Evening

Supper, then settled in. Extra drinks and snacks any time, on request.
